Have you seen the fantastic wildflower display in the wild life garden? Robin's been hard at work over winter depleting the soil, adding ash and planting more seeds and it's paid off = there is a carpet of wildflowers! I've seen poppies, cornflower, white daisies and a pretty purple flower I've yet to identify, along with the more usual finds.
I've just spent a pleasant hour wondering the garden with my daughter - our favourite activity is lying on the platform spotting pond life. This afternoon we saw pond skaters, water boatmen, loads of newts and some snails. No dragon flies yet or signs of ducks. What have you seen on your visits - if you take any good photos of the garden send them to the committee and if they're suitable we'll put them on the website!
