Why go anywhere else when you can source all you need for a healthy productive plot from your local shop. (Just how local can you get?) Peter is on hand to impart gardening knowledge and wisdom at no extra cost! (He may even throw in a smile no promises mind).

Site-Shop

A range of plants ready for cultivation now available, including: cabbages, lettuces, artichokes, grape vines and much more.

Orders are now being taken for onion sets for Autumn sowing.

A number of on-site courses soon to be arranged, including Strimming Safely. For more information contact our very own shop manager Peter Hutton or shop notice board.

Did you know?

That contributions to the next newsletter need to arrive by the first week in August.

For a membership of £5, nonplot holders can visit the Society's well stocked shop any Sunday between the hours of 10am-1pm. Items on sale include seeds, plants and honey.

Stickleback

The stickleback’s a spiky chap,

Worse than a bit of a briar.

Hungry Pike would sooner swallow

Embers from a fire.

The stickleback is fearless in

The way he loves his wife.

Every minute of the day

He guards her with his life.

She, like him, is dressed to kill

In stiff and steely prickles,

And when they kiss, there

bubbles up

The laughter of the tickles.
